Saturday, September 26, 9:00-2:00 PM, lunch available for $11
Kenwood has been selected as one of the national training sites to host Del Tackett to train small group leaders for The Engagement Project on Saturday, September 26.
Dr. Del Tackett, who authored and taught the small group DVD series, The Truth Project, is coming to Kenwood Baptist on September 26 to train small group leaders for the followup to The Truth Project, The Engagement Project. The Truth Project was viewed by an estimated 20 million people worldwide in 125 countries. The purpose of The Truth Project was to help believers build a comprehensive, systematic biblical worldview in which they would gaze upon the face of God. The Truth Project answered the question: “Why did Jesus come into the world?”
The Engagement Project will address 2 questions: Why did Jesus leave? Why does God send? It will take us on a marvelous quest of seeking the face of God and, as best as He will allow, to gaze upon the Crown Jewel in His nature—a quest we hope and pray will deeply transform the Body of Christ. This will lead us to understand where we are in God’s Meta-Narrative and the incredible vision which God has——that He has entrusted the primary work of the Kingdom to the common, everyday Christian. If God chooses to bless, and the Body of Christ will begin to do what He has asked us to do, it will be transformational.
This is a unique opportunity for us and our community. Please be in prayer for this training conference and about your possible involvement in hosting The Engagement Project in your home.
