Grief is not just a feeling of sadness; it is overwhelming, complex, and a little different for each of us. How do we cope with the pain, come to terms with the loss, and finally find ways to pick up the pieces? On Sunday, October 17, Susan Rice will discuss the grief experience with a tie-in to how faith supports healing.
Susan Rice is an Elder at Kenwood Baptist Church. She has a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was an adjunct instructor in the Human Services program at Northern Kentucky University, teaching a course called “Death, Dying and Grief”.
The event is from 12:30 – 2:30. A box lunch will be available for those who register by October 12. Register here.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
