To Be Like Jesus
Led by David Palmer and Pete B.

What is salvation? How does someone become a Christian? What does it mean to become like Jesus? Our Wednesday night group will seek to explore these important questions by the elements of the Gospel message, its purpose, and promise. A significant focus for us will be on the dynamic process by which a Christian becomes more and more conformed to the likeness of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. This study is for interested adults, parents, and grandparents. The Children Desiring God curriculum “To Be Like Jesus” will guide our time in God’s Word on Wednesday night. This is also the same curriculum that is use in our Kenwood Kids program on Sunday morning. This discipleship focused study is for interested adults, parents, and grandparents.

“Developing A Biblical World View:
Thinking Christianly in a Post Christian World”
Led by Vic Gordon

This course will be an exercise in “the renewing of the mind” (Romans 12:2). We know that Jesus calls us to love God with all our mind (Matthew 22:37, Mark 12:30). How can we do that? Paul tells us that we can have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 1:16). How is that possible? This course will focus on these topics and move us forward in the mind-renewal process. Are you ready to think like Jesus?

Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God by Sheila Walsh
Led by Allison S.

“This is the way God works. Over and over again He pulls our souls back from certain destruction so we’ll see the light – and live in the light!” Job 33:29-30 Join Allison in exploring Sheila Walsh’s most recent book on how we as women can deepen our trust in the Lord. By using personal experience and the stories of ten people in the Bible including Mary and Martha, Joseph and Abraham, Sheila shows women how to recognize fears that are preventing us from completely trusting in the Lord and gaining the courage to let Him reign in our lives.
