Senior Pastor

Dr. Vic Gordon was called to serve as Kenwood’s sixth Senior Pastor in September of 2009. Pastor Vic loves God and dearly loves his work as a pastor. He has brought a tremendous amount of enthusiasm, education and experience to Kenwood.  His heart for the body of Christ at Kenwood is for it to become a group of people who show their love for God through worship and ministry, who work to grow spiritually and who make prayer a priority in their church’s life

Associate Pastor

David Palmer feels privileged to serve as the Associate Pastor of Kenwood Baptist Church , where he has served since 2002. His primary areas of responsibility are the young adult ministry, missions, adult discipleship, and teaching. David was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He and his wife Christine have been married since 1995. They have two children, Salome and Jonathan.

Geary Randall has served as Worship Director at Kewnwood since 1994. Ministering here has been a wonderful blessing for their family. Kelsey loves the Student Ministry programs.  Sherry provides offertory solos, sings in the choir, and plays violin in the instrumental ensemble. Geary enjoys working with the many gifted people and provides direction and encouragement in planning and preparing for meaningful worship. Geary also arranges and directs the presentation of the Living Christmas Tree each December.

Pastor of Student Ministries

Hearing and obeying God’s call away from Washington in 2007, the Taylor clan moved to Ohio to begin another adventure serving the Church, students and the community. Jeremy recently graduated from Bethel Seminary (in Minnesota ) with a Masters of Divinity in Transformational Leadership and Greek.

Pastor to Children and Families

Denise Franke was called to serve as the Pastor to Children and Families at Kenwood in September of 2005. Denise was Ordained to the Gospel Ministry at Kenwood Baptist Church in February of 2007. She serves our children and their families through the Sunday School program, Wednesday night activities, and other events throughout the year.

Pastor of Visitation

Bruce took on the position of the Pastor of Visitation when he retired as high school science teacher.  As a science teacher he still gets a thrill in seeing the laws of physics, biology and geology unfold in God’s magnificent creation.  Besides serving the church in his current position he has had the privilege of formerly serving as Sunday school teacher, youth leader, chair of deacons, chair of pastoral relations committee, and vice-moderator.
