The Children’s Ministry at Kenwood Baptist Church is dedicated to introducing young children to God’s truth and love while keeping the children safe and secure.

There are active programs on Sunday Mornings and on Wednesday Nights for all age groups.

Sunday Morning

Infant – Pre-Kindergarten
Childcare, playtime and an age appropriate lesson are offered during both worship services.

Kindergarten– Fifth Grade

• 9:30 - Worship together with family (Sanc.)
• 11:00 am - Kenwood Kids Sunday School Classes

• 1st Grade - “The ABCs of God” (Room 201)
  
• 2nd & 3rd Grade - “Faithful to all His Promises (Rm 206/208)
  
• 4th & 5th Grade - “In the Beginning....Jesus” (Rm 207)

Wednesday Nights

Kenwood Kids’ Wednesday Night will start again on Wednesday, January 25th.

We will have family dinner from 6:00PM-6:40PM. And then from 6:45PM-8:15PM, children Kindergarten thru 5th Grade will gather for a large group worship time, a brief lesson, and then move into small group activity stations, and then finally gather again for a large group sharing time.

January 25th – March 28th we will be learning about: “MADE 4 GOD 4 GOOD: MY UNIQUE SMARTS”. In this 10 week interactive, experiential study, the children will learn and discover their own unique abilities and intelligences (word smarts, logic smarts, picture smarts, body smarts, music smarts, people smarts, and nature smarts) which God has created them with. And also then discover how they are to use those special smarts for God’s purposes and to do good for others.
