who are being transformed into His likeness by the life-changing love of God,
lavished upon us in Jesus Christ and poured out in us by the Holy Spirit.
In response, we offer to Him, in our sinful brokenness,
every facet of our lives as an act of worship.

who love Him passionately by the study of His Word,
by willing obedience to what He teaches us,
and by devoting ourselves to a deep and meaningful prayer life
in which Christ is a real and ever-present Friend.

God is calling Kenwood to be a thriving community of authentic Christ-followers
who practice sacrificial love for our brothers and sisters in Christ and strive to maintain
our blood-bought, Spirit-created unity. As every person ministers to one another
through servant love, the diverse gifts of the Spirit, and the unique contributions
of each generation, we will increasingly resemble Christ
as a community in our beliefs and behavior.

God is calling Kenwood to be a thriving community of authentic Christ-followers
who are so filled with the transforming truths of Scripture and the power of the Spirit
that we increasingly think and act like our Savior, Teacher and Lord Jesus, deny ourselves and follow Him
as He extends the kingdom of God among all people, including the poor, the hurting,
the lost, and the diverse peoples of our neighborhoods, greater Cincinnati,
our nation and the world.

God is calling Kenwood to be a thriving community of authentic Christ-followers
who prayerfully entrust the precious gospel of grace, mercy, peace and justice
in relationship to the next generations through our love, teaching and example, in the hope
that they will surpass us in knowing and serving Christ.

God is calling Kenwood to be a thriving community of authentic Christ-followers
who are faithful and wise stewards of all God’s gifts, our time, energy, talents and wealth,
and are stunningly generous before a self-centered world system of needless consumption.

God is calling Kenwood to be a thriving community of authentic Christ-followers
who long to see Jesus and show we are temporary residents of
this world by living, loving, witnessing, and serving so openhandedly and joyfully
that we put on display for all to see the beauty, glory,
and worth of our great triune God.
